Cuba Card

Finally i could post this postcard from Cuba, which i already received two years ago. On the card you could see the Castillo del Morro de Santiago de Cuba. The castle protects the bay since 1642 and was declared patrimony in 1997, as explained on the card. Cuba is such a great island, i would like to visit one day. The capital city is Havanna and the official language is Spanish. About 11 million people are living on the island and the currency is the Cuban Peso. Cuba become independent from Spain on 10. December 1898. The island Cuba is the biggest island in the Caribbean and belongs to the Greater-Antilles. Havanna is with 2 million inhabitants the biggest city in Cuba, followed by Santiago de Cuba. If you think of Cuba, the first things that come in to your mind would be: cigars, rum, salsa and american old-timer.
