Nicaragua is the largest state in Central America and about 6 million people are living there. The capital city Managua is the third largest city in Central America. The official language is mainly Spanish. The currency of Nicaragua is the Córdoba. Nicaragua is one of the poorest countries in America - 48% of the population of the country live below the poverty line. Nicaragua is primarily an agricultural country. Mining is becoming a major industry in Nicaragua. During the war years in the 1980s much of the countrys infrastructure was damaged. I was waiting a long time to get my last country from Central America!
