After a long break, here is another great postcard for you! As we have winter here now, i think this is a very suitable card. The picutre on the card shows Svalbard! I got this card from a lovely girl from Russia who spent their summer holiday there. The card was sent from the russian settlement called Barentsburg. I think it's a very fascination region in the world. The small island belongs to Norway and about 2700 people are living there. The climate is arctic and it's cold all year. In the summer the coast region are snowfree for about 6 weeks. Especially ice bear are popular animals on Svalbard, as you could see on the stamp too!
